about

Cindo Santos is the original Portugal. The real man - as he

was born in Coimbra, huh, Portugal!

Without making this a long story, yeah, was born in Portugal, but his dad got bored and the family moved to Staten Island, when he was a teenager, hmm, a while back, like really a while back, certainly it happened in the 20th- Century, second half, of course. From picking up the guitar at age 15 (that’s what teens did in those days, now they pick up computer keyboard and a MIDI controller), coming with musical ideas, songwriting, that’s what came, and still does, naturally. That’s what feels so good to him, and that’s where he excels; “Dylanesque”, “he’s got songs”, all of that. Let’s fastforward. The thing is that this guy loves science, he loves making the world a better place, so music, as always been a personal therapist more (much more LOL) than a bread winner. Work and pleasure took him to Scandinavia, to Ohio, Mississipi, the New Mexico desert, Cali, and now:

Cindo Santos and the Sunshine State

Yeah, he loves it here - in the Sunshine State - even if it rains half the time and, there are no mountais - it’s flatter than a pancake, it’s a giant swamp! So, yeah, Florida is very vulnerable to climate change… Cindo is a non- fanatic environmentalist, always has been. People need houses, jobs and all that. But how about houses with solar panels and proper passive heating and cooling, that create a lot of jobs?! He want to make this happen, he can go to your environmental - renewables event and play, for free. He’s even built a few solar collectors and studied solar energy engineering in New Mexico State University (huh, that was in another lifetime LOL). But back to Florida living, with palm, coconut, banana, avocado, and papaya trees his Broward County backyard, chasing away giants toads from his cat’s food, chasing ducks away from pooping around his swimming pool (he gave up on the iguanas eating my flowers), yeaph, it’s all sunshine here. Oh, two international airports around the corner, for a quick connection to the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, NY, LA, and Nashville.
Now, it’s all music. Singing while cooking, playing guitar while watching Netflix, music while sleeping, music ideas on waking up. His music, of course. So many songs, so little time. OK, he’s starting with Woke Up This Morning on Nov. 3rd 2019. Then his first EP in February 2020. Guess what it will be called? Duh, 2020, of course. What an exciting year this will be, when take back a little more control of our country. Cindo Santos is going to be a part of this; he will play at, preferably, non partisan events, any events, from any party as long as they are positive and empowering! Subscribe and Follow - it’s going to be an exciting ride!!
