Santos Drops Nov. 3rd 2019!
The song Woke Up This Morning will be released on all platforms on Nov. 3rd 2019. The genre is Pop but with that contemporary Pop Trap groove, that yeah, you can dance to, and play it really loud in your car, just for shaking things up a little bit! There’s some other musical styling in there that are pure Cindo Santos. I’m talking about Blues-Rock undertones, Bossa Nova-esque guitar groove. Let’s not forget the soul singers in the Chorus either - they will have you singing “ooh ooh” until you hmm surrender to it! The Music Video (from 11/3) - wow, it’s something else! It’s so entertaining, so non-stereotypical, has so much eye candy, you’re going to watch it over and over again, we all do.. You might even have to freeze it on some of the shots, as they are, hmm, quite juicy (but all natural and tasteful). But why the Nov. 3rd?! Well, the lyrics are about our life in contemporary America… So, to mark an amazing opportunity, afforded us by Freedom and Democracy and the Constituion - and it’s an opportunity we cannot afford to loose, exactly one year from this date on Nov. 3rd 2020, the US presidential elections will be held. Yes indeed! There is a whole story behind the lyrics of Woke Up This Morning, but we will let the media ask them after the release - it’s going to be real exciting! Keep in mind, it’s all written without heavyhandness, without selfrighteneousness, with respect for everyone, no matter who they are, where they’re coming from. Because, you know, we all come from somewhere, so it’s absolutely inevitable that we as human beings are going to differ on our points of view, our beliefs and our belief systems. Friends, that is democracy - let’s keep it that way, let’s treasure and foster it. Actually, it’s funny, the song is super danceable and the music video, huh, is quiet breezy. As most of my music is: Breezy and Consequential.
